Bending is a crucial element in the manufacture of sheet metal parts. Bending guarantees that specific requirements are met and that the details reach the desired tolerances.
Autofric shapes sheet metal in two CNC-controlled press brakes. The newest machine, an AMADA HFE 220, has electric plate sensors for handling awkward and heavy parts.
The bending is performed with high bending quality along the entire length. The processing takes place quickly and efficiently, from drawing to finished details. Lead times are minimized, as all settings are performed directly in the machine.

Roller bending is carried out to give the plate a rounded shape. The plate passes through the machine’s rollers and bends into a cylindrical shape. By adjusting the position of the rollers, it is possible to determine the radius of the plate when it has passed through the bending machine.
Autofric has what is required for modern roller bending and can bend sheet metal with widths up to 3000 mm without any problems.
