We are ISO 14001 certified
We have been working on reducing the use of resources and materials for a long time. Our operational policy states that Autofric shall prevent and gradually reduce the environmental impact of our activities.
ISO 14001 is an international standard for controlling and regulating the environmental management system within a company. The purpose of the certification is to enable companies and organizations to conduct effective and structured environmental work. Us being certified is proof that our environmental work is carried out and documented according to the ISO 14001 standard. This is important not only for us, but also for our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

The move from the gas station to the current premises
Autofric's rapid growth meant that the old gas station soon became too small, and in 2003 the company moved to larger premises. The move involved an intense period of recruitments and investments in new equipment.

Self-developed machines for wastewater treatment plants marked Autofric's entry into the water industry
In the early 90s, Autofric decided to expand its product portfolio with screws for the waste water treatment plant presses. As there was no machines available on the market, the company decided to develop its own.

To meet new customer requirements, we have developed our capacity of manufacturing transportation screws with individual screw flights. With our new screw flight bending machine, we can now handle the entire manufacturing process in-house.

It all started in 1984
In 1984, Jan Åslund and his partner at the time bought an old gas station in Råda. The initial idea was to use the station as a workshop for hobby projects. Instead, it was the start of the thriving business that Autofric is today.
